Research- Questionaire and Questionaire Results - Miss B

what is a primary research?

Results from the questionnaire

This question is important as my group will think whether we should use a female victim or a male victim. The popular on was a female victim as they believe that women tend to e venerable and are a good fit to be a victim.

The audience think that it is best for censorship to not be included as it might be disturbing for them. My group will make sure that we wont include anything that might harm or influence the audience and only include appropriate things for a 15 rating, as our film will be a 15  rating.
I made sure that I would include what the audience  think about the setting in a white room as my group are planning to do it in mental institute. I asked the audience what response they would get in a mental institution and the popular answer is chilling. This is good as the film my group is making include the chilling feeling as that connects to a thriller.

This helps to figure out weather our group should involve supernatural power, gun, or knife as this may attract the audience and also bring suspense.

The advantage in the results of my questionnaire is that we have an idea what the audience expect and want from our film making and also we will know what is suitable for the audience. The disadvantages is that when I handed out the questionnaire, some people didn't complete it or was unsure about it. This made me struggle on what idea we should have when filming.

Questionnaire

Primary research is when you use your own research by yourself. When doing primary research  feel more in control of your project. But when doing primary research you are not 100% sure if it is correct. When doing primary research your trying to find out the theory match's the public opinion.

Conclusion:

I have understood why making a questionnaire and getting the results of the questionnaire is important because you will get opinions from the audience about what they are interested in and what they except from the movie. Also I have had ideas that I haven't thought of which is useful as I will share it toward my group.

  1. Clear to see that you have engaged with your own research and the findings have been collated and analysed.

    To improve;
    can you make your questionnaire a little clearer? Hard to read what question you asked.
    -be more specific with the results of the graph and what decisions that has helped you to make, for example create a 15 thriller or what weapon you will now actually use.
